Hi, I'm Soleil Badenhop. I'm a creative who gives a damn. I create substantial and purposeful work that influence the lives of people because otherwise what's the point?


Hi, I'm Soleil Badenhop. I've been in the advertising industry for 8 years. I now work as a copy-based Associate Creative Director for one of the most award-winning independent agencies in the Philippines, The GIGIL Advertising Group. 
I started my career when I was in college as a part-time graphic designer.  After graduating, and despite my strong graphic portfolio, I immediately landed a copywriting job due to my strong desire to be a storyteller.
FCB Manila took me under its wing and trusted me with big brands like Nivea, PLDT, and Emperador Distillers, Inc. (where I learned a lot about drinking and getting properly wasted.) As a young creative I managed to win a Young Cannes Lions Health Award placing 3rd among hundreds of entries globally--this all happened during my first year!
Later that year, I joined a multi-awarded creative agency housing some of the most brilliant minds in Philippine advertising, Dentsu Jayme Syfu. They trusted a rookie like me with bigger brands like Coca-Cola, Smart PLDT, Jollibee, and Unilever. I grew with these brands and grew their business as I created notable campaigns for them. After a year, I raked more awards for the agency as part of the team who worked on the multi-awarded Greenpeace Dead Whale campaign which brought home the agency’s and the Philippines’ 1st Spikes Agency of the Year award along with other major awards. 
A year into the unprecedented times, I was promoted to Associate Creative Director.  It was double the challenge to be leading a team in the WFH set-up. As if that wasn't enough, I decided to push myself further by joining the young but tough agency, now hailed by AdAge as the International Small Agency of the Year: Gold winner-- Gigil, the Ideas Agency. Now, with a bigger challenge in front of me, I'm ready to do #HighRiskHighReward work like they've always done.


Hi, I'm Soleil Badenhop. I've been in the advertising industry for 8 years.

In my first year in advertising,I won a Young Cannes Lions Health Award placing 3rd among hundreds of entries globally.
Afterwards, I moved to DM9 Jayme Syfu, a multi-awarded creative agency which later on merged with Dentsu.
3 years later with Dentsu Jayme Syfu, I got promoted to Associate Creative Director. 
5 years in and I'm proud to say I did award-winning works with some of theBRILLIANTFEARLESSRESILIENTcreatives in Philippine advertising.
I tried to create more meaningful work-

2020. A year into the unprecedented times,I took the #HighRiskHighReward path by joiningGigil, The Ideas Agencyas their 5th Associate Creative Director.
Here, I continued working the GIGIL way.
